Subject:SAPDB doesn't start any more
View as plain text
Dear all,

I've got problems by using SAPDB within the SAP Knowledge Warehouse:

symptoms: While trying to start SAPDB by DBGUI or DBMCLI it remains in state
COLD (yellow).
An error message:
Database	Error code	Description
! SDB -24988 sql error [db_warm]; -902, Message not
available

What I have done before:
-I imported the Knowledge Warehouse content (report RSIRTRIM)
-Transport was too big, DATA table space was full
-I added table space 6, this worked just fine
-I wanted to add another tablespace, so I have had to increase the parameter
MAXDATADEVSPACE from 6 to 10
-Thereafter I created tablespace 7, this worked fine
-Thereafter I wanted to create tablespace 8, on a different harddrive (for
performance reasons)
-Then suddenly database was in cold mode
-Restart of server and database hasn't worked until now

What can I do, or how do I find out, what's the problem.
I don't get any other message then the mentioned above.
So I really I have no glue, what else I can do.

Kind regards
