According to our roadmap (http://www.sapdb.org/sap_db_roadmap.htm), sources
for the clients and programming interfaces will be made available in January
2001, sources for the database kernel April 2001. For the really curious,
the sources for the JDBC deiver are available at
http://www.sapdb.org/sap_db_jdbc.htm - although being written in Java, they
are not really representative of the bulk.

Reasons for the roadmap:
- the development tools have to be put into a package for easy installation
- some of the folklore of our development process has to be put into
writing/software
- at least a general outline has to be written about how to port to a new
platform
- we would like to give our programmers the opportunity to clean up the most
embarassing parts :-)

Please feel free to comment on what part of the sources you are mostly
interested in, so we can schedule our deployment and documentation efforts
accordingly.
