Error building maxdb-buildtools-source-518823

Hi everyone!
Im am trying to build the devtools from sources using maxdb-buildtools-source-518823.tgz
but i am running into problems.

When i do a: 
./configure 
i get:
: bad interpreter: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden

when i do a:
autoconf && ./configure
after some time i get:
configure: error: cannot run /bin/sh ./config.sub

any idea what is wrong with the configure files ?
