Subject:SAPDB Logging Overwrite Mode
View as plain text
Hi

I'm a SAPDB user, and I have a question: I want to change my logging settings to
"Overwrite Mode".
The question is: Is there any dbmcli command that enables me to perform this operation ?
Is there any database parameter that suits the logging settings, and if there is, what are
this parameter's possible values ?

My common sense says that there must be a way to do this, from both ways (database
parameter and dbmcli command), but the documentation only refers to change the logging
settings through the "Database Manager".

I'm using SAPDB version 7.4, but I must know if your request is backward compatible with
7.3, and if not how can I do it in 7.3 ?

Thanks in advance
