Hi Rodney,

with 7.3 we have an Apache support with a modified mod_fastcgi module. But we have many
problems with this combination. I recommend to use the Web Tools 7.4 with the SAP DB web
server instead of this. The Web Tools are version independent and can be used with SAP DB
7.3 and 7.4

Subject: Starting apache after changing httpd.conf

Env.: SuSe 8.0 // sapdb 7.3

Hi,

I'm trying to install the web-tools. I've changed the config files as
prescribed in the "Web Tools Installation Guide: SAP DB". Now I'm
getting the following error:

Syntax error on line 208 of /usr/Apache/conf/httpd.conf:
Cannot load /usr/sapdb/depend/lib/mod_fastcgi.so into server:
/usr/sapdb/depend/lib/mod_fastcgi.so: undefined symbol: fstat
/usr/bin/apachectl start: httpd could not be started

I could "google" a message with the same problem, but there was no
answer :-(

Any pointers???

TIA,

Rodney
