I wanted to keep naming so it was obvious it was tests and that it was
the mysql set of tests as opposed to some set of unit tests for the
engines.

this should fix patg's req to have it be able to run suites outside the
tree.

it's great that we're showing some engine testing love... who knows...
perhaps it'll be easy to run a generic engine test suite at some
point :)
