Hi folks, Im having a real weird problem here.... Im using Java SDK version 1.4.2_05 ,
MySQL v 4.1.3b-beta-nt , Tomcat Version 5.0.27 ,
mysql-connector-java-3.0.11-stable-bin.jar all running under Windows 2000 Server (not
UNIX)....
My problem is weird.... I go into Tomcat, under Apps Manager, click on my application,
brings up my sign on screen.... Im able to enter identity, password, and connect to the
database, do updates, disconnect from database, WORKS FINE..... I then am in my
software, I click on a process I want to perform, which has to open database, etc.....
and I get SQLSTATE 08000.....
I am allowed only ONE connect, if I back out to Tomcat App manager, stop the
application, restart the application, go back in, I get one ONE connection again,
but obviously, thats not what I need..... DOES anyone have ANY IDEA what this newbie
is doing wrong?????
I read the TOMCAT docs, and it said to Place the Connector Java JAR file in
"Web-apps/App Name/web-inf/lib/....jar I did this, this is what I got re
connections.... I also tried and unzipping the jar file into "web-apps/app
name/web-inf/classes/......jar and still got the same results.....
Im desperate here people, its driving me crazy, please email any thoughts directly to
m.mcquade@stripped
Thank You..... Mike
