Java - MySQL and character set

Hi to everyone,

I had write a Java Application to store Data to a MySQL Server under Linux.

When i execute an  import query from my Java Application using english
character, everything it's o.k,
but when i'll try to execute the same query using greek character  , the
query it's o.k but the data on mySql server is ...
"???????????????????????".

Please tell me how i can fix this.
