What I meant by 'full' is the ability to handle any type of query. The
server won't be able to return metadata for prepared statement
parameters until sometime later in the 4.1 release cycle.

Our web team is working on putting in place a 'snapshots' server for all
of our products. Until that's done, nightly snapshots of MySQL
Connector/J are at http://mmmmysql.sourceforge.net/snapshots/
