Forgiving me if this is not right place to ask about installation mysql. I
would like to install mysql 4.0 on webserver. The webserver has freebsd
with apache. I could not find any instruction how to install mysql on
webserver. Do we need to create a folder or which folder do we use a? Do we
need to configuratiion on freebsd to recogonize mysql? Also, I will install
the Connecter/J for Java. Is there anything else we need to install on it
before we make this work? I heard that we might need to install TOmcat and
sun java sdk. Is that true? I don't want to waste space on harddrive. This
webserver is belong to my friend who is willing to host my domain name.
