It's not urgent, but I think there should be a change to NULL
sorting.
As I've said in previous postings, the current draft
of SQL:2003 has what seems to be an error, touching
on this particular question. I am hopeful that things
will be clear by the time SQL:2003 comes out.
One reason for the proposed change -- whatever it
turns out to mean -- is that we might want interspersed
ROLLUP subtotals to appear just after the detail
columns.
