Those declarations in include/my_pthread.h are protected by
#if defined(__WIN__)

and __WIN__ is probably defined by your compiler.

We only build with Visual Studio on Windows these days,
no mingw or cygwin.

My guess is that porting to mingw would require considerable effort.
