As it turns out, MySQL's version of persistent statistics is InnoDB-only. Not only it doesn't work for other engines, statistic tables are even updated from inside InnoDB, not by the server. Our version is storage engine independent, should be in 10.0.1 (it's ready, just waiting for a review) Regards, Sergei
