The original source tar file (complete source tree) is 1.3GB that's why I uploaded the
modified files only.
The original source tar file is now available at the website, hope this helps.

I quote from the GPLv2 license file distributed with MySQL and Percona Server:
3. You may copy and distribute the Program (or a work based on it,
