Postfixing would be unduly wasteful of CPU cycles in tests, as it's 
impossible to tell whether it's a hostname or a role until the entire 
hostname has been compared.  Just picking nits though, as we're talking 
about only 4 characters -- and it may be irrelevant anyway since the 
privilege cache uses hashing...
