Hello.
I have some questions regarding the records_in_range API for custom storage
engines.

1. Will the key_part_map for the min key range always be the same as the
key_part_map for the max key range?
2. What is the intended use of the ha_rkey_function flag for this API? Can
it be ignored?
3. What is an example script (or query) that will drive this API when both
a min and max range is passed?
4. What is an example script (or query) that will drive this API when only
one range is passed to determine the number of records that match that key?
5. Are partial keys ever passed to the storage engine in the key_range? If
so, are they always padded so that they appear to the storage engine to be
a complete key?

Thank you!
