Hi All,

This past fall as part of a graduate DB class assignment at Purdue
University another student and I implemented Core-RBAC in MySQL.
While most of our code doesn't comply with the MySQL coding style /
guidelines---and some aspects of our code have a "just make it work"
feel---I'm interested in working with other MySQL developers on
implementing RBAC (most likely RBAC-0 or RBAC-1) for actual release
and deployment.

Are there any others who would be interested? I noticed in the FAQ
	http://dev.mysql.com/doc/refman/5.1/en/faqs-
security.html#qandaitem-28-10-5
that RBAC is a rolling feature. I've never made major contributions
to an open source project, so I'm not sure what my next step or the
appropriate protocol is. I can provide additional information on what
we did and how we did it, but there are design changes that are
likely to be needed.

Thanks,
