Will MySQL Be Patched for 2007 Daylight Saving Time

To whom it may concern,
We are currently using Bugzilla and PHPBB, both of which are backed by the 
MySQL dB an a Linux server (CentOS).
Could someone please tell me if MySQL is going to need a patch due to the 
new (2007) Daylight Saving Time U.S change.
