Yeah this could cause some compatibility problems in a cluster setup.
But of course it's the administrators decision to compile with a custom
username length, so she/he could also recompile the slave servers.

The mysql_fix_privilege_tables.sql script has been updated (see patch notes)
so this should be no problem.
