Hello Mr.Barkov
Thank you for responsing in such a nice and compelete
manner.
Actually,I have done whatever you had written for me.
I have configured MySQL with --with-charset and
--with-collation options,also I have started the
server with --default-character-set and
--default-collation options.When I type in the
following command:
mysql>show collation;
I can see utf8_persian_ci but when I type in the
following command:
mysql>\s
the default values for character set and collation are
not set to utf8 and utf8_persian_ci.
