Yes, I was creating the new files for OpenServer 5.0.8 when it is
released. These will be part of it but is still under NDA as it is in
development. I was send SCO my recommendations for footnotes for MySQL to
add to their web site. I have a complete set of changes to test for it
and a completely different set of configure options. Configure will have
to diferentiate between releases of OpenServer prior to 5.0.8 and older
OS's. MySQL-4.0.20 bk and MySQL-4.1.3 bk both work really well under the
new threads and file sizes. SCO will be making a beta available at SCO
Forum Aug 1-4 of this year. I will submit the changes to these trees once
the finaly release gets closer.

To make changes to the kernel cd /etc/conf/bin ./idtune name parameter to
make the changes. For example to change SEMMS to 200 as root...
# cd /etc/conf/bin
# ./idtune SEMMNS 200
