FYI, I can compile the version from Sleepycat.com with no problem.
However, if i do a "cp mysql-4.0/bdb/include/* db/include" ( ie, overwrite
the sleepycat's header with mysql's version ), it fails with the same error.

I may have a look to this when I have time, but not in these few weeks.
