HELP about Fields!!!

Hi!

I'm working with version 3.23.57, and i need know the length of the fields that will be
selected in 'mysql_select' function (/sql/sql_select.cc).

how can i get the length of a field, if this is an Item_Field?

The Item_Field class is defined in /sql/item.h (i can get the name of the field, but not
the length)

Does exist any method in this class to know this?
