MySQL Workbench localisation

I tried to localise MW 5.2.44 to Catalan (as told by the
"po/README.i18n" file) and created the file "ca.po", but the build
process does not seem to be aware of it and it does not build the *.mo
files.
I tried to generate by hand the language file as "mysql-workbench.mo",
but the program does not seem to find it (or does not look for it).

Has anybody worked on this?
