I for one would choose B any day :). And it'd be good if it printed out
the query executed above the table, too.

An idea that may be tricky to implement but useful: Would there be a way
to find out in advance how many pages/inches long and/or wide the output
would be? I can see at least one immediate use for this: I design some
reports with php/mysql and having an approximate size in pages of a
query would be very handy.
