Cannot login using default user [e-mail]?

Hi all,

I have successfully installed Eventum 1.4 in Red Hat Linux 9, Apache
2.0.50. PHP 5.0.0, MySQL 2.0.40 standard.

But I have a weird problem.
I can see the login page but when I login using 
default user: admin@stripped 
password: admin

It gives me this error: " Error: The email address / password
combination could not be found in the system."

When I checked MySQL, I see the user admin@stripped there plus the
status is active.

Does anyone else has this problem of is it just me?
