Updating incidents programmatically

I am looking for an open source ticketing system such as Eventum to
integrate with another software. The software generates reports in XML and i
would like the parsed data stored in Eventum MySQL and linked into an
incident. the idea is, when i generate an Eventum report for a customer, i
can see a history of all incidents both manually updated by customer/user
and programmatically with parsed data.
