This same thought had occurred to me as well.  Seems to make sense to use
Eventum for your own lists.  I think it would be great to see this group
using its own project for the public to see the progress.

Ideally, yes. We are actually discussing an idea to create a separate area
of our website for a public Eventum installation, and perhaps a Wiki that
would be available to the community.
