Hi all,
Just a minor observation - "Manage Custom Fields" is available only for "Administrators"
and not for "Managers". I am not sure whether this is really intended or not but this
feature quite fits into my Organization Policies. Adding / Removing Custom Fields is
very much a Customization of the Tool itself hence in my opinion should be possible only
for an "Administrator". "Managers", atleast in my organization are a sort of
"privileged" users, that's all. So, the default behaviour (as observed with Eventum
2.1.1) is very much fine with me.
Thanks and rgds,
Watson

Excellent! Thanks German, Georger and Jorge, that looks like plenty for me to get on
with. I do not know how I missed the 'Manage Custom Fields' link in administration - my
only excuse is that I was exhausted when I was looking last night!
Anyway, thanks again,
Toby

Asunto: Custom fields
Hi all,
Very basic question - can anyone point me at something that will get me
started on adding custom fields (to issues)? I have found these two pages on
the wiki:
http://eventum.mysql.org/wiki/index.php/CustomFieldAPI
http://eventum.mysql.org/wiki/index.php/DynamicCustomFieldExample
but they don't seem to tell me quite enough to get started...or do they?! At
the moment I can't even quite figure out if this is a pure development task,
or a combination off admin. and development...or neither?!
I'm hoping to add a browser versions dropdown, for issue tracking website
development (I mention this because it seems like something a lot of people
would have done before).
Anyway, any help will be greatly appreciated.
