Hi,

You may be right, and Oracle guru quoting might be justified, but the ground
reality is that storing files in database makes Eventum impossible to use on
shared servers where you don't have access to modify ini files, which is
acting as a limitation.

I can't help but think that Tom Kyte, Oracle guru, has a really good take on
this:
"You have my advice, you want data protected, secure, manageable, restored
to a point in time -- you be using a database."
I agree with him - keep the files in the database, and configure it
