Aaron/Joao,

I am having a similar problem, but I think I may know why.

I setup Eventum this afternoon and immediately went about setting up users
and passwords. The system automatically generated an email message with an
empty From (Which my server - postfix doesn't like either) to indicate a
password change. This gets stuck because the configuration of postfix
requires a fully qualified user@stripped address.

Perhaps you could force the user to enter a mail From address when the
server is setup, before they can change the accounts?

Thanks,

Craig.

Aaron,

This is _probably_ your SMTP server doing that. All I can say is that it
works
fine for me, so my suggestion is for you to try to look into why your SMTP
server is doing that, and fix it.
