But here you have given me the clue I needed to see where the code needs
to be changed (says he confidently having never touched php before ;-):
The first piece of the puzzle is
class.notification.php::getFixedFromHeader
All I need to do is move the logic for determinging $flag and appending
it to $info['sender_name'] outside the test for whether routing is
enabled or not.
(I think this change by itself would not change existing functionality
in any way)
Now for the second piece, I need to be able to set the recipient type
flag, and flag location independent of whether routing is enabled or not.
I think all I need to do is not disable the relevant fields in
general.tpl.html?
Yesssss.
Is it worth sending in a patch for this?
Probably the GUI presentation would need to be altered so that it was
clear that the "recipient type flag" could be specified independent of
whether routing was enabled or not.
