Subject:Cookies Error
View as plain text
Hi

I'm trying to set up Eventum and seem to be having the same problem that
Sam Boles described in his post on 25 May
(http://lists.mysql.com/eventum-users/63)

Basically I am runnning eventum 1.2.1 in IIS 5.1 with PHP 4.3.7 under
Windows XP and MySQL 4.0.20a on a separate machine under Windows 2k.

The configuration and installation appears to run without problems, but
when I try to login using the admin user I am returned to login page
with the text:

"Error: Cookies support seem to be disabled in your browser. Please
enable this feature and try again".

My browser is IE 6.0 and cookies seem fine with every other site.

I've tried the following to remove the error with no luck:

- Lower IE security settings.

- Switch off anti-virus software (note we have no firewall).

- Reverting to PHP 4.1.0.

- Moving the site to the Win2k server under IIS 5.0.

Every time I seem to get the same error! Has anyone else any ideas of
what else I could try?

Thanks in advance.

Neil
