Just use the examples supplied by Microsoft for connecting to MS-SQL.
There's a few different ways of doing it, and learning by looking
through the MS help is the best way. There is a learning curve, but
examples are all there. The only difference will be very slight changes
in the names of the classes and the initial connection string will be
different. Look in the help under SqlDataAdapter Class (change it to
MySqlDataAdapter). Then read through each of the related sections from
there. It's all there.

Great. I have been using VbMySQL and I loved it.
I am just starting using .NET (C# Express).
I have digged the MySQL website looking for a very simple tutorial to
connect to the MySQL server, run a simple query that returns some rows
and maybe display it in a grid on any other simple component. The Docs
now are for advanced users and confusing for beginners. That's my
personal view.

Thanks
Emery
