Which specific issues with prepared commands (as opposed to query commands) on the server does this avoid? Are they to be fixed any time soon? Users of the Connector may try to use prepared commands for security reasons. Is it not then a security issue that users of the .NET Connector who aren't aware of this setting might be labouring under misconceptions about what type of command ultimately gets sent from client to server when using .NET Connector prepared commands? =20 (By the way this relates to a previous post that stated "When the PS subsystem on the server becomes more robust, then users can remove the connection string option to disable PS and they will start working again"). =20 Regards, Mark.
