List-Archive: http://lists.mysql.com/community/51 Message-Id: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset=gb2312; format=flowed Hello, I will appreciate if you can help me! We are now using MySql as our application database. In this application multiple lanaguage should be supported. We may store mutilple langauge characters in the same table. But now I am confiused whether MySql supports this feature. I've tested with Korean, Janpanese, and Chinese, using java database driver. The url seems like this: mysql://localhost/dbname?autoReconnect=true, but this didn't work. When I store Korean characters, for example in the database, the characters display as "???????". Even if I just copy Korean characters directly into the database, the result was the same. Is there any problem with MySql database, or, Is there any problem with the java url I used? How can I get MySql support mutilple worldwide languages? Thanks in advance! _________________________________________________________________ 与联机的朋友进行交流,请使用 MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com/cn
