The ARPAnet, at that point, had 46 nodes, which boggled our collective minds. I was probably even more annoying than (Jim, don't go there). The serial log, however, only dates back to 2006; the current tablespace implementation only goes back to 2007. So the implementation is not only after Nixon's resignation, his eventual but gracious death, but mostly likely after your birth, possibly after your graduation from grammar school.
