Peter stated in thread Re: BUG#33024: Thoughts on DDL blocker:
"... it doesn't have to be part of "online backup" project.
I think WL#1272 "User timeouts on queries" might cover it."
But that was in December 2007.
I think that now's not the right time to raise it again.
