Hello Monty,
Thank you for spotting the unnecessary backup/restore of THD fields.
With regard to some_tables_deleted, we'd like to get rid of this
flag completely (at least use of it in multiple threads, perhaps
it's ok to stay as an indicator used within the same thread).
