no external_lock(!F_UNLCK) before ::info, causing segfault when trying to 
read autoinc value.

Jeb - can you please have a look at the test case and see if there's anything
I'm missing or need to clean up. The original test case attached to the bug
had a while(1) loop... which would take a bit long to include in the regular
test suite :) 100 triggers it, but removing the loop doesn't seem to.
