You could try selecting the matching rows a second time later by their PK
directly - is it still slow? If so perhaps the host that contains that
partition/row is suffering a performance problem?

Hi Johan,

the primary index is very good. Many of these queries run fast, but a few
don't. And when I repeat a slow query manually it runs very fast too. At the
moment I am looking for other reasons, that slow down queries _sometimes_. I
checked the logs for LCPs but the LCP-times do not correlate with the
entries in the slow-query log.

Any other ideas ?

kind regards

Hi,

Perhaps PRIMARY is not the best index.

Try to use 'tan_list' instead.

SELECT  *  FROM tan_list FORCE INDEX(tan_list) WHERE (SEC_TYPE='Card' AND
TAN_LIST_NUMBER='1' AND USER_ID='1023029' AND CLIENT_ID='1' );
