Subject:Continuous DNS queries?

Got a strange one for you...  I've got four NDB nodes running on two
computers.  The four nodes seem to be doing 40 queries per second to
my DNS name servers, which works out to each node doing a query every
0.1 seconds or so.

Is this part of the heartbeat mechanism?  Regardless, why is it doing
the DNS query repeatedly rather than caching the results?
