Hi,

Thank you for the reply.

The problem: When I start a node (with or without --initial) it never fully
loads.
The log file ndb_2_out.log reports

=============

It does not seem to go beyond this point.
These people had similar issues - but unfortunately the only solution given
was to re-install the OS:
http://www.nabble.com/5.1.16-installation-td9594158.html

btw - I'm using v5.1.22

What I tried so far:
Delete everything in /var/lib/mysql-cluster (on Nodes)
Delete everything in /var/lib/mysql-cluster, except config.ini (on
Management)
Running nodes with and without --initial

Louis

Hi Louis,

Depends on what you mean by "totally clear out the old cluster".

Do you want to get rid of cluster data/tables?

What about log files?

What about the cluster executables? What about mysqld and MySQL programs?

What method did you use to install the cluster software?

Installation and locations of cluster binaries and other files should be
covered pretty well in the MySQL Manual. It should be a pretty
straightforward process to shut down the cluster and remove any or all
of these. Is there something that's unclear or missing in the documentation?

Maybe a better place to start would be to fix the actual problem. What
is it? "Major issues" is not very precise.

cheers / MVH,

jon.
