Does this Beta Version 5.1 work?

Hi

          Can anybody see this version 5.1beta working? I have this problem
with installation of it and was trying to download 

 cd
/var/tmp/http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql-5.1.15-beta-pc-linux-gnu-i686.t
ar.gz but having this issue of "no Such File or Directory" .So can anyone
help me in this regard?
