i now have setup everything like in

but i still get the same error message. when i put down a non existent
path for like:

[DB]
Id: 2
ExecuteOnComputer: 1
FileSystemPath: /non/existent/path/node2/

i do get the following message:

Current byte-offset of file-pointer is: 468

Date/Time: Tuesday 17 August 2004 - 13:48:11
Type of error: error
Message: Illegal file system path
Fault ID: 2805
Problem data: /usr/esting/mysql-4.1/db1/
Object of reference:  Filename::init()
ProgramName: NDB Kernel
ProcessID: 19822
TraceFile: NDB_TraceFile_1.trace
***EOM***

now i wonder what the problem is, because it seems like the ndb client
is able to connect to the ndb_mgmd
