I have noticed this in mysql-4.1.4-beta-nightly-20040713.tar.gz. Every
test I ran fell over with the same 'it has probably crashed' surmise,
with or without ndbcluster. Not so with
mysql-4.1.4-beta-nightly-20040709.tar.gz which, although I have to
ignore some odd tests (3 due to ucs2 and 'key', don't know why) i pass
241 of them.
