Hi Brian,


 	did you take a look at the excellent 15 minutes quickstart
about MySQL Cluster ? very simple and straightforward to learn and 
understand the very basic things about cluster architecture, DB Nodes,
API Node(s), MGM Node(s).

 	ok as I'm rather a slow one, It took me about one our to
understand the whole thing, how should I start the cluster, which
processes in which order, etc. but it's really a must read.
