Subject:Certification: New features available on website
View as plain text
Hello,

Over the last couple of months, we have introduced a number of new
pages/features for certified users and those wanting to become
certified. Some of you are probably aware of at least some of these,
while others might not have noticed it at all.

The MySQL Forums
================

On http://forums.mysql.com/ there are several forums to discuss
everything MySQL -- including one on MySQL certification.

Listings of MySQL Certified candidates
======================================

On http://www.mysql.com/certification/candidates.php you will find
listings of candidates that have attained Core and Professional
certification.

For your name to appear on this list, you must specifically set the
option "List my name on public lists" in your candidate settings. To do
this, log in to http://www.mysql.com/certification/candidate/index.php
and click the "Change results page..." link near the bottom of the page.

You received the login credentials with your certificate -- if you need
to have the password reset, please send an e-mail to
certification@stripped, and we'll do our best to help you out.

Corporate Listing of MySQL Certified Personnel
==============================================

The basic idea: You tell us which company you work for, and when your
boss logs in, he gets a full listing of the exams that his employees has
been to, which ones they passed, etc. Again, please note that you as the
candidate must specifically assign your results to be listed with a
given company.

To get such a listing, the company must first apply for an account on
which to list employees (we provide this for free, just send an e-mail
to certification@stripped). Once this is set up, you can go into the
candidate setting page and set the "Corporate Association" field to
match your company.

For additional information on this feature, please see
