the new MaxDB software version 7.5.00.34 is now available for download.

New Features
------------

* The performance of updating the database statistics has been improved.

* The maximum length of a LIKE expression has been increased from 254 to 8000 (ASCII)
resp. 4000 (UNICODE) characters.

* JDBC: New methods which support default values have been implemented.

* JDBC: A new 'cancel' method has been implemented for the DBM and the Loader Java
classes.

* Database Manager CLI: The commands for registering database instances have been made
more user-friendly.
