The Call for Participation is now open, and you're invited to submit a proposal to speak at the next MySQL Users Conference, April 18-21, 2005, in Santa Clara, California. MySQL AB has teamed up with O'Reilly Media, Inc. to co-present the conference, which will feature leading industry speakers, new MySQL products, in-depth sessions and tutorials, and an exhibit hall showcasing the latest open source technologies. The conference is a great opportunity to gather with the top database, open source, and technology experts, including Gnome co-founder Miguel de Icaza, who will present a keynote address at the 2005 event. Other confirmed speakers include MySQL co-founders Monty Widenius and David Axmark, CEO Marten Mickos, director of architecture Brian Aker, and MySQL community relations manager Arjen Lentz. Call for Participation Details Since MySQL is being used in everything from embedded solutions to web and back-office applications, the theme for the 2005 conference is "MySQL Everywhere."
